Dear all, In these minutes, we are reaching the number of 100 online signatures; a good start for the online collection, but only a first small step. In the coming weeks, it will be crucial to motivate as many citizens as possible to sign the Initiativ

Hi Klaus,
Very interesting stuff!
I’m planning for my meeting with Margot Wallström and the top of her staff on Monday … and I have some quite interesting meetings in Copenhagen today. There are so many interesting things going on – and still time is so limited.. From mid-May though I will have more time.. looking forward to that..
;-)

Hi Søren,
I intended to copy the article for you, but there was no time up to now.
The project in South Korea started as a non-profit and intended to build a “new way of journalism”. It turned out that it made that much money, that it finally turned into a for-profit business.
The idea is simple: Additional to your ability to vote on an article you can also donate (pay) for an article you like. This actually happens and thus professional and semi-professional writer are motivate to contribute their best stuff – and they get rewarded.
I think we could do something like this too – to reward the author in the first place for “real smart” contributions.
Actually research shows that if there is “little” money involved future markets (bets) creates the best results – because the incentive is here (the “thrill”) to try hard, but the incentive to cheat not.
Send ya the article soon.
How is work doing in Denmark?
Enjoy,
Klaus
